A visit from Bradshaw Primary School

bradbanner1Mrs Wellings, the Teaching Assistant at Bradshaw Primary School, visited Pre-school this week.

The children love it when she arrives, and are eager to do creative activities with her in small groups. At the end of the session she reads a story and the children use the props they made to interact with her. This week they made wands for the story ‘Winnie the Witch’.

The Pre-school children get to spend some quality time with Mrs Wellings and by the time they are ready to go to school next year, they will already know her. This really helps with the transition from Pre-school to School and is just one of the many things we do to help our children become ready for school.
